Two Months on and Looking Good…

I just thought I would share these photos taken of some of the restoration and enhancement undertaken on the river banks and channel on the estate. These photos were taken when the habitat enhancement was implemented in mid-March 2015, again in April 2015 and finally May 2015. It doesn’t take long to take effect! The first three are of the site of the new gravel introduction, and the riffle this caused. The second set of three are of the hinged Willow tree done by the Wild Trout Trust chaps, and the resulting slack water, marginal habitat and reed growth through it to provide habitat for juvenile fish downstream.

All the best,
